I’m super excited for this post because it’s the first tag I’ve ever made! This time of year is my all-time favorite and has been for literally my entire life, so I thought it would be fitting to make a tag for it!
- Be sure to link back to the tag creator in your own post.
- Tag 4+ of your own friends to keep the coziness going!
- You don’t have to be tagged to fill this out– feel free to post your answers on your own blog.
Not required, but if you leave a comment on my post I’ll check out your answers too! I’d love to read your responses!
A Cozy Winter Tag
#1: Green Christmas or White Christmas?
I love the idea of White Christmas, but that rarely ever happens where I live! So I usually experience a green Christmas while wishing for a white one.
#2: Would you rather snuggle up with a blanket or go outside and play in the snow?
I think both are good in their own time! I’m definitely more of a snuggle up with a blanket kind of person, though.
#3: How do you typically celebrate New Years?
Usually just with a couple close friends and my boyfriend, and maybe a bottle of wine.
#4: Favorite winter food?
STUFFING. I love stuffing so much.
#5: What is your favorite seasonal drink?
Anything with peppermint! I love the excuse to get peppermint flavored everything! I’m also a huge fan of Starbucks’s Snickerdoodle hot chocolate. YUM.
#6: How early do you decorate for Christmas?
I always want to decorate on like November 1st haha, but I usually make myself wait until closer to American Thanksgiving.
#7: Do you enjoy the cold weather or do you get anxious for spring to come?
I do get sick of any type weather that lasts for too long, so I do get a bit tired of the cold temperatures. But I do prefer the cold weather to the hot weather, so I don’t long for the warmer weather or anything.
#8: Do you have any special holiday traditions?
My hometown hosts a Tour of Homes where residents of some of the houses in our downtown area will open up their homes and allow us to tour them! Some of them are antebellum homes and they’re gorgeous. I try to go to that every year.
I also love driving around certain neighborhoods and looking at Christmas lights on Christmas Eve!
#9: What is your idea of a perfect winter day?
A cozy day where I can cuddle up with a warm blanket, hot chocolate, and my cat and lounge at home.
#10: What’s the best part about winter?
Winter feels magical to me, especially around Christmas. After Christmas, I like the feeling of starting fresh that comes with January.
#11: What’s your favorite movie set in the winter season? (Not necessarily a Christmas movie)
I’ve always been a fan of A Christmas Carol with George C. Scott. And also the 1999 version of Annie with Kathy Bates.
#12: What do you hate about winter?
That we rarely ever get snow. Haha. But really, the weather can be pretty unpredictable here and sometimes we get ice, and that makes me nervous to drive sometimes!
Thanks for reading! Happy December!
